Nieuwe actie voor december: Massale aangifte Arbeidsinspectie

Beste Collega’s,
Twee jaar acties van WOinActie
begint vruchten af te werpen: de minister heeft eerder deze week toegegeven dat
onze eis dat er minstens een miljard euro structureel bij moet voor de
universiteiten terecht is.
Ook voor de collega’s die
diplomatiek lobby-werk boven activisme verkiezen, zou het ondertussen duidelijk
moeten zijn dat 2 jaar activisme van WOinActie meer lijkt op te leveren dan een
veelvoud in jaren van rapporten en diplomatiek overleg door de VSNU, KNAW, etc
(al zijn beiden ons inziens nodig!). Het activisme van WOinActie begint effect
te hebben, maar we moeten de druk op de ketel houden tot de “erkende 1 miljard”
ook daadwerkelijk en op een structurele manier op tafel ligt.
Vandaag, 6 december, is daarom onze
nieuwe actie begonnen: deze maand gaat WOinActie aangifte doen bij de
arbeidsinspectie over de veel te hoge werkdruk op de universiteiten. Daarvoor
hebben we klachten/informatie van individuele wetenschappers nodig, en dat kan
anoniem. Het invullen van het formulier duurt 1 tot 3 minuten, afhankelijk van
hoeveel toelichting je wilt geven. Link naar het formulier:

Op 20 december worden alle
individuele formulieren gebundeld en door WOinActie als een collectieve
aangifte ingediend bij de arbeidsinspectie.

Two years of actions by WOinActie is starting
to bear fruit: earlier this week, the Minister admitted that our demand that at
least one billion euros should be added structurally to the universities is
justified.

Also for those colleagues who prefer
diplomatic lobbying to activism, it should be clear by now that 2 years of
activism of WOinActie seems to yield more than a multiple in years of reports
and diplomatic consultations by the VSNU, KNAW, etc. (although both are
necessary in our opinion!). The activism of WOinActie is beginning have effect,
but we must keep up the pressure until the "recognized 1 billion" is
actually on the table in a structural way.
Today, 6 December, our new action started:
this month, WOinActie will report to the labour inspectorate about the far too
high workload at the universities. To do this, we need complaints/information
from individual academics, and this can be done anonymously. It takes 1 to 3
minutes to complete the form, depending on how much explanation you want to

On 20 December, all individual forms will be
bundled and submitted by WOinActie as a collective declaration to the Labour
Inspectorate.
